Luftwaffenoffizier Gunnar Kratz geht mit 29 Schülern aus Edmonton in Kanada in das Innere der Transall C-160.

Curious students out of Canada ask many questions to Lt. Klein Heidorn. A student exchange group from Canada got a tour of the flight line yesterday.   The 29 grade 9 students are from Allendale Junior High School in Edmonton.   Three young officers and a corporal visited their school in May to inform them about the role of the 62 nd transport squadron.   The Canadian teacher Andreas Much initiated contact with the pilots.   He knew that the pilots participated in the Maple Flag competition in Alberta, at one of the largest Air Force base in the world.   He said, "The Goal of our visit is to further develop our German-Canadian friendship".   Later Rod Sergeant Uwe Zachow briefed the guests about the important humanitarian role their squadron plays.   "Do you like your work?" asked Kyra Sedgewick.   Without hesitation, Air Force officer Gunnar Kratz responded "Yes, very much." "I always wanted to fly."   A tour of the Transall C-160 transport aircraft and the tower was planed for the Canadians.
